Happy Halloween! (Pet Costumes)

     Happy Halloween Everyone!

I have spent my Halloween cranking out to big project proposals.
But tonight I plan on relaxing and watching a scary movie marathon
with my Fiance, and my two sweet pups.
To be a bit more in the hollows eve spirit since Cole and I aren't dressing up
we did dress up our babies.
Dusk was a dinosaur last year so we just reused his costume
and let Cali wear it one day.

Behold Our Ferocious Dinosaurs!

Sorry the photos are poor quality, I used my iPhone and Cali refused to sit still.

Disclaimer: Cali only wore it for a few minutes, and Dusk loves the costume so he wore it an entire day...in fact when I get home tonight Dusk is going to sport it some more! If your pets don't like costumes/clothes don't force them...If they love them (like Dusk) let them rock the style!

Photography Session {Ashley and Clay}

I have been taking a beginner photography class this semester and I have been really enjoying it. I have learned a lot in the last few weeks. I now know how to shoot in manual and I am looking forward to developing my photography skills more!

This past Friday I was in Columbia to get my hair done. While I was there I met up with my friend Ashley, and had the privilege to photograph her and her sweet new puppy, Clay!

Here is a preview of one of my favorite shots,
Ashley is gorgeous and Clay is adorable and very energetic!

If you would like to see more of the shoot please visit my photography tab at the top of the page!

Anything but Studying...(Home Docor and Paintings)

If you have attended college you know that most college students develop an art form to avoiding school work. Weather it be cleaning, arts and crafts, hitting up thirsty thursday, or just vegging out on the couch by the time college students are seniors they are pros at procrastinating and avoiding school work til the last possible second. I seemed to have developed that skill early on in high school. I never needed to study, and the homework I did get, I finished quickly right before class. So, this past week instead of doing school work I got our home fall ready! We surprisingly found some great decorations at the Dollar Tree, and I had a few things I got from the Target Dollar Spot.

To add to the decorations and to procrastinate some more I painted a new canvas for our mantel!

I am super pleased with how it turned out, and I was reminded how much I love painting when I was making it. I am toying with the idea of starting an Etsy shop and selling canvases. Pre-Designed and Custom Designs.

Please leave a comment and send some love, or let me know if you would be interested in purchasing if I opened an Etsy shop. Much love to all!

Status Update

I have been MIA from the blogging world for a little while. Tests and homework started piling up a little bit and unfortunately that normally means putting the blog on the back burner for a few days/weeks until things settle down. However my life has been short of boring lately. Some highlights of the past few weeks.

       1. Cole and I were able to attend a good friends wedding last weekend! We are so happy we were able to make it, and celebrate such a big day with him. He's been one of Cole's good friends since high school so it's pretty crazy to see him get married.

      2. We went to the South Carolina State Fair for the day Monday. We met my mom for lunch when we got to Columbia. Spent the afternoon walking around the fair. Then Monday evening we had a photo-shoot with our wedding photographer, Kaity Williamson of Very Important Date Photography, at the fair. I was sort of skeptical of the fair setting to begin with, but after we warmed up and joked around with her while she posed us and took picture after picture of us I was beyond excited to see the photos! Kaity even posted sneak peeks on facebook that night and I must say I am obsessed. I cannot wait to see the rest. I feel like a kid waiting for Christmas!

        3. My middle niece turned 2! I can't believe how quickly they are growing up. It breaks my heart that I wasn't able to be there to celebrate with her. However from the sounds of it she had a great day and got to enjoy some quality time with Grandma Debbo (My mom...the oldest niece dubbed her with that name and it has stuck).

       4. We went to a corn maze! Nothing makes it feel more like Fall than going to a corn maze...even if it is hot as Hades. The day we went it ended up being in the 80's. We went on a double date with one of Cole's work friends and his wife. It really was a good time, I think we are planning to go back when it feel more like Fall, at least when it's cool enough to not be sweating all the way through the maze.

        5. I decorated our house for Fall! It is my first year having a place without a roommate so I was excited to actually be able to decorate the whole place. I love when people go all out and decorate everything, however with me still being in school we just can't afford that...or so I thought. We ended up going to the dollar store and getting most of our decorations there! I was super surprised that they actually had decent decorations that weren't gaudy. So we decorated our mantle, our kitchen table and our porch for around $15!

This weekend is another huge game weekend here in Clemson. ESPN Gameday is coming back to Clemson! We are playing FSU in Death Valley at night! It is just a recipe for awesomeness! I seriously cannot wait.

What have ya'll been up to lately?
